Mykonos is still an expensive destination, mostly if you rent a villa, but it is well worth it. Let's take a closer look at why mykonos villas .
Windsurfers and other water sports lovers come to Mykonos, which is not just a haven for partiers and celebrities. The island has numerous beaches and ideal windy weather places for water fans to gather and enjoy. Mykonos is a small island, so it's easy to get everywhere. It has great beaches with soft white sand and crystal clear water.
To start, get on Platis Yialos, one of the Mediterranean's most popular beaches. This beach is well-kept and provides a wide variety of outdoor activities such as water skiing, swimming, pedal boating, and far more.
Ornos beach is situated on the southern side of Mykonos, about three kilometers from the town. The shoreline gently slopes into the sea, making it perfect for families with kids. Waterskiing and surfing courses are eligible.
Psarou is perhaps Mykonos' most well-known beach. Many tourists are drawn to the area because of its beautiful setting, clean sea, and sandy beach. The beach is well-kept and offers a range of water sports, including scuba diving.
Psarou's beach rival is Super Paradise. Marvelous beach with crystal clear blue water in a small, shallow bay: part of the beach is family-oriented, whereas the other half is totally gay, with nudists selecting the rocky paths and coves.
Last but not least, Elia Beach, a large, fewer crowded beach with a mixed crowd of sightseers. 3 restaurants and tavernas are established in the coordinated area. Elia is the ultimate destination for small boats departing from central Platis Yialos Beach; a bus service is also available from Mykonos Town, which is 10 kilometers (6,5 miles) away.
There is also a spot on the island known as Little Venice, which is one of Mykonos Town's most beautiful neighborhoods and one of the most beautiful locations in the Cyclades. Its picturesque two- and three-story houses with colored balconies, windows, and doors, built right on the water, create a one-of-a-kind scene. Little Venice is an excellent place to see the sunset.
These factors, as well as the island's cosmopolitan and vibrant energy, place it among the top ten must-see destinations!
